| Medport’s
Electronic Health Records Framework Medport’s EHR framework is suitable
of any speciality of medicine. It is
based on the
SOAP process i.e. Subjective, Objective,
Assessment & Plan Process. The medical
record is based on a Problem Oriented
Medical Record Approach. POMR is the
gold standard of medical record keeping.
The framework is web based and can
be deployed in-house using very minimalistic
IT infrastructure and managed with
extremely low cost of resources. This
is possible as it has been developed
on some
very unique technologies. Medport can
be easily integrated into an existing
hospital
information management system. Medport
is in operation in quite a few practices
in
USA and other countries across the world.
About Medport’s
EMR
The Medport EMR is an XML based document
making data exchange between
differing systems a far smoother process.
This facilitates the software’s
comprehensive reporting and analytics features.
It has been designed to be logical to
use with lots of predefined medical data
preloaded viz. Subjective History forms,
Objective forms, Lab Report Templates,
Generic / Brand Drugs with default dosages,
usages, routes, frequency & directions,
preventive medicines and more.
Further we allow Automatic Prescriptions
to be generated with Automatic Drug
Processing to calculate the Dosages. Differential
lists help achieve best practices and
move towards a Clinical Decision Support
system. All this is template driven and
can
be added to and modified in the hands of
the user.
An
EMR system with a difference, the Medport
Medical practice management
software has been designed in such a way
that it can be individualized for each
user’s Medical practice thus creating
a valuable knowledgebase of intellectual
property. This is the base on which one
can scale their operations i.e. multiple
clinics.
The EMR helps trigger
automated email reminders, aids decision-making
when
managing resources and scheduling, automates
educational information, manages
online library information and integrates
seamlessly with in-house lab equipment
and external labs and also facilitates
communications between the staff and patients
seamlessly through emails and sms. Specialist
Practices can view and work on
patient records of a General Practitioner
and vice versa can get Referral practices
to work within their environments. The
EHR maintains it own secure repository
for
online access and at same can be also integrated
with online health portals. |
