Can Patient access Medport?
Yes. "Users Access Control" (Domains) allows Patients
to access certain aspects of
the records. They can view there records, participate in interactive
plan items to master problems, print off certificates, Patient handouts,
or the entire electronic medical record in pdf format. The Patient
also has access to
other features - login as a Patient and see for yourself.
Is a high speed connection required?
No, but it is recommended. Without a standard high speed connection
printing pdf files, opening large images will be slow, however for
the most common
document needs we provide html versions which are fast.
Can I access Medport via a mobile phone, hand held computer or pda?
Yes! Medport can currently be accessed from a smart phone, ipad
browser capable gadgets, we are working to make the smart phone/gadget
experience with Medport even better. With the data access capabilities
today's cell phones you can access Medport from your car, while on
a house call, or
even while fishing (please don't do this it is bad fishing form).

Can I move my data from an older system?
Depending on the system, most data can be converted to some extent.

Do I have access to my Data?

electronic scans of these documents. How does Medport associate these
scanned documents with Medport's Medical records?
Through a simple process to upload, you can upload, and attach scanned
documents and images to the medical record. Once the patient and
